Under Australian Consumer Law we are not required to accept returns for change of mind.

Please review our Returns Policy carefully:

  • Eligible Returns:
    Returns are accepted for items that are faulty, damaged, or incorrectly supplied.
    Returns due incorrect part selection are subject to a 15% restocking fee. Please confirm product compatibility before placing your order.
  • Return Window:
    Return claims must be made within 7 days of delivery.
  • Restocking Fee:
    A 15% restocking fee applies to approved returns. This fee covers handling and inspection, and will be deducted from your refund.
  • Condition of Returns:
    Returns will only be accepted if items are received back in their original, unused condition with no damage or signs of installation. We cannot accept returns on items that have been fitted, used, marked, damaged, or altered in any way.
  • Installation Disclaimer:
    All products must be installed by a qualified mechanic or professional installer. We are not liable for any damage resulting from incorrect installation or misuse.

Return Process:

  1. Contact us within 7 days of receiving your item to request return instructions.
  2. For other approved returns, return shipping is the buyer’s responsibility.

Refunds:
Refunds are processed within 2 business days after we receive the item in its original condition, minus any applicable restocking fee.

Shipping Policy

All orders are packed and shipped within 1-2 business days.

Orders with out of stock item(s) – If an item is out of stock we will contact you to discuss how you would like to proceed and are happy to refund if we cannot fulfill the order.

Some billet items ordered in black anodized finish are anodized to suit so please allow 10-14 days for anodizing before the parts will be ready to ship. This will be clearly stated on the listing if a waiting time applies.

Australian Orders: All orders over $100 AUD quality for free regular shipping via Australia Post, to any address within Australia.

 

International Orders: Based on your location and order total, we determine the best and most efficient shipping carrier for your order to ensure quick delivery. We prefer to use express freight options offered by Australia Post for international delivery which include tracking and signature on delivery.

Warranty Disclaimer

12-Month Limited Warranty
Heavy Metal Garage warrants that our products are free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase.

Warranty Coverage
This limited warranty applies only to the original purchaser of the product. It covers manufacturing defects under normal intended use. We will, at our discretion, repair, replace, or refund products found to be defective within the warranty period.

What Is Not Covered
This warranty does not cover:
– Improper installation or use
– Normal wear and tear
– Damage caused by abuse, misuse, accident, or modification
– Failure to follow installation instructions
– Fitment issues caused by non-standard or modified vehicle components
– Incidental or consequential damages, labour, or removal costs

Installation Disclaimer
All products must be installed by a qualified professional mechanic. Heavy Metal Garage takes no responsibility for damage, personal injury, or vehicle issues arising from incorrect installation or improper use.

Making a Warranty Claim

To lodge a warranty claim, please contact us within the warranty period and provide:
1. Proof of purchase
2. Description of the issue
3. Photos or evidence of the defect
